Syro is operated by Valeria Leascenco, an individual doing business as Syro ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information when you visit our website at syro.pro ("Site") and use the Syro mobile application ("App").
We take privacy seriously. Our App is built on an on-device architecture — your behavioral data never leaves your phone. This policy explains what little we do collect, why, and how you can control it.

Email address. If you submit your email address on our Site to receive updates about Syro, we collect and store that email address. Providing your email is entirely voluntary. We use it solely to send you product updates and launch announcements you've opted into.
Basic server logs. Our hosting provider may automatically collect standard log data including your IP address, browser type, referring URL, and pages visited. This is used only to diagnose technical issues and understand aggregate traffic. We do not use any third-party analytics platform.
Cookies. Our Site may use essential cookies required for basic functionality only. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking cookies, or cookies that follow you across other websites.
All behavioral data stays on your device. Your streak history, check-in outcomes, mood logs, trigger logs, and username are stored exclusively in your device's local storage and are never transmitted to us or any server. We cannot see this data. We do not want this data.
Subscription information. When you purchase a Syro premium subscription, the transaction is processed by Apple through the App Store. We use RevenueCat, a third-party subscription management service, solely to validate your subscription status. RevenueCat receives an anonymous user identifier — no name, no email, no device ID linked to you personally — and your transaction receipt for validation. Crash reports. If the App crashes, Apple's standard crash reporting system may collect a crash log. This is handled entirely by Apple under their privacy policy. We do not embed any third-party crash reporting SDK.
No analytics. There is no analytics SDK in the App. We do not track which features you use, how long you use them, or your in-app behavior.

We do not sell your information. We do not share your information with advertisers. We do not build advertising profiles. We do not use your information for any purpose beyond what is stated above.
By submitting your email on our Site, you consent to receive emails from Syro, including product updates, launch announcements, and related news. Every email includes an unsubscribe link. You may also opt out at any time by emailing syroapp.pro@gmail.com with "Unsubscribe" in the subject line. We process unsubscribe requests within 10 business days. We do not share your email address with third parties for marketing purposes.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only in the following limited circumstances:
Service providers. We use RevenueCat for subscription validation and standard email delivery infrastructure for our mailing list. These providers are permitted to use your data only as necessary to perform services for us.
Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required by applicable law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Syro, our users, or the public. Given our on-device architecture, there is minimal data we could disclose even if compelled.
Business transfers. If Syro is sold or transferred to another entity, your information may transfer as part of that transaction. We will notify you by email or prominent notice on the Site before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
Email addresses collected on our Site are retained until you unsubscribe. Once you unsubscribe, your email is removed from our mailing list within 10 business days.
App data is stored on your device and persists until you delete the App or reset your device. We have no access to this data and cannot delete it on your behalf — you control it entirely.
Subscription records are retained by RevenueCat and Apple for the period required to manage your subscription and comply with applicable laws.

Legal basis. We process your email address on the basis of your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), given when you voluntarily submit your email. You may withdraw consent at any time by unsubscribing.
Data transfers. Your email may be processed by service providers outside the EEA. Where this occurs, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, including Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable.
Complaints. You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Syro is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, please contact us at syroapp.pro@gmail.com and we will delete it promptly.
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information we hold. Email addresses are stored using standard security practices. App data is stored on your device under iOS's sandboxed security model, inaccessible to other apps. No transmission or storage method is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take our obligations seriously.
Our Site or App may contain links to third-party services. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies independently.
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will update the "Last updated" date when we do. For material changes, we will notify you by email (if we have your address) or by prominent notice on the Site. Continued use of the Site or App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
